Blue Dog (Catahoula)

Tall glass of Blue Dog (Catahoula) Cocktail, elderberries and grapefruit made with Wine Forest Wild Foods Wild Elderberry Shrub By John Gerber

  • 1½ oz. Gin
  • ½ oz. Elderberry Shrub
  • 2 oz. Fresh Ruby Grapefruit Juice
  • ½ oz. Honey Syrup (half honey / half water)
  • 1 dash Maraschino Liqueur
  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well.
  2. Strain into an ice-filled Collins or rocks glass.
  3. Garnish with a grapefruit slice and / or cherry.
