Blue Dog (Catahoula)

1½ oz. Gin
½ oz. Elderberry Shrub
2 oz. Fresh Ruby Grapefruit Juice
½ oz. Honey Syrup (half honey / half water)
1 dash Maraschino Liqueur
Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker with ice.
Shake well.
Strain into an ice-filled Collins or rocks glass.
Garnish with a grapefruit slice and / or cherry.
